has met all admission requirements and accepted admission offer by acceptance deadline.
has met all admission requirements and accepted admission offer for deadline.
has submitted a complete scholarship application by closing date (only apply to applicants who have received an offer prior to 22 May 2017)
Applicant is not eligible if:
He/she is a citizen of Australia or New Zealand, or hold permanent residency in Australia.
He/she is a study abroad or an exchange student coming to the University.
He/she is currently enrolled at Western Sydney University and apply for a scholarship for the existing course of study.
He/she did not submit scholarship application and/or acceptance by closing date.
He/she is applying to study a program located at Sydney City campus.
He/she has been awarded another scholarship by the University or another organisation that covers the cost of the tuition fees (fully or partially) to study at Western Sydney University.
He/she is studying a postgraduate research degree.

Application and Selection Process
Short-listing will be carried out by a panel of officers from the University, chaired by the Deputy Pro Vice-Chancellor (International) or a delegated representative. Applicants will be ranked based on the selection criteria and the panel's review. No separate scholarship application will be required.
Finalists will be notified via email by the university and will be requested to provide a statement in support of their application indicating how they believe the scholarship will assist them with their studies and in their future career.

School of Social Sciences & Psychology Postgraduate International Scholarship
The School of Social Sciences & Psychology (SSAP) is offering scholarship awards to international students enrolling in selected postgraduate coursework programs within the School.
The scholarship will cover the described amount below of the annual tuition fees for maximum of 2 years:
·20% of the cost of tuition fees for students with a minimum GPA of 4.5 on a 7 point scale in their undergraduate degree.
·30% of the cost of tuition fees for students with a minimum GPA of 5 on a 7 point scale in their undergraduate degree
·The academic performance of these scholarship holders would be reviewed at the conclusion of each semester of study at the School of Social Sciences & Psychology. The scholarship will be continued if the student maintains GPA of 4.5 or 5 respectively.

Scholarship conditions
The conditions of the SSAP Postgraduate International Scholarship are:
1.The student must be a new international student to Western Sydney University

3.The student must apply to study within the School of Social Sciences & Psychology in 2017
4.The student must enrol in a full time load each semester
5.The student must successfully complete all units each semester
6.The scholarship will be rescinded if the student fails a unit in any semester
7.The scholarship is paid directly by the University to the students' university enrolment account each semester of enrolment as appropriate and is not paid as cash
8.The scholarship is not transferable to another student
9.The scholarship will lapse if not taken up in 2017
