Official Program Title: Master Of Education (Teaching) -Program Code: MC039 -Duration:1.5 yrs Annual fee:$14,400 Total fee:$21,600 ---Intake: Feb, Jul Entrance Requirements: Postgraduate (Coursework) Level One of the following: IELTS 6.5 (no band below 6.0); TRMIT CELL - Advanced Level.
Applicants will be considered for entry to the program if they belong to one of the following categories: Regular Entry: An appropriate first degree and at least one-year of relevant professional or additional academic experience. Special Admissions: Applicants not possessing the recognised academic qualifications may be considered for entry if they produce evidence or experience which satisfies the relevant Program Co-ordinator and Head of Department that they have developed a knowledge of the field of study sufficient to undertake the proposed program.

-Program Description The program aims to provide students and groups with the opportunity to recognise, develop and extend their professional knowledge, skills, attitudes and values within a flexible framework which equips them for senior positions of responsibility in a variety of educational, training and community contexts and assists their organisations to address their strategic priorities in a systematic and effective manner. Specifically, the program aims to produce, in co-operation with all sectors of the education and training industry, highly skilled, critical, reflective and ethical practitioners committed to making substantive contribution to their field, workplace and community.
-Teaching Methods: Classes are taught in a combination of lecture / seminar, tutorial, workshop, practical and laboratory sessions.
-Assessment: Assessment is ongoing throughout the semester and may include examinations, essay / reports, oral class presentations, group projects, research projects, laboratory projects and
practical assignments.
-Mode and Duration: Please Note: part-time study is not available to International Students. One and a half years full-time or three years part-time.
-Professional Recognition: The Master of Education (Teaching) by coursework, Graduate Diploma and Graduate certificate programs are formally accredited programs and provide evidence of substantial achievement for promotion and employment purposes in occupations relating to education.
-Program Structure The Master of Education (Teaching) program comprises six full time semester length courses (subjects) and requires the completion of 144 credit points. A full-time student would enrol in two semester length courses (subjects) per semester. A part-time student would enrol in one semester length courses (subjects) per semester.
