　　Although only just making it into the top 50 in last year’s QS Best Student cities ranking, this year Kyoto leaps a whopping 16 places to become the 34th best student city in the world, nestled betweenDublin and Stockholm.

　　One of Japan’s leading destinations for both tourists and international students, second only toTokyo, Kyoto is home to Kyoto University, the second highest ranked institution in the nation, ranked 36th in the world according to the QS World University Rankings ® 2014/15.
