The quality of the RMIT’s research work was endorsed in the most recent round of the Excellence in Research Australia (ERA) exercise. ERA is a national system, developed by the Commonwealth Government and being run by the Australian Research Council, to evaluate the quality of research in all Australian universities.
The survey found that RMIT’s research was “above world standard” results in 19 disciplines. In three disciplines – Architecture, Clinical Sciences, and Human Movement and Sports Science – RMIT’s research was “well above world standard”.
