Robert Gordon University offers scholarships to full-time, on-campus International students and full fee paying students from the rest of the United Kingdom outside of Scotland (RUK students).
The scholarships are available on a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
The maximum total amount of scholarships available to an individual student will be £3,000 for students from an approved Partner Institution and £2,500 for direct entry students.

How to Apply and Deadlines
Applicants must submit a scholarship application form, including a 500 words statement of support. The Scholarship Panel would expect applicants to highlight why they should be considered for the award.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a telephone or skype interview.
Deadline for application: 1 July 2017. Successful candidates will be informed by 1 August 2017.

Successful applicants will be awarded a total of £2,000 (RGU Postgraduate Award + RGU Postgraduate High Achiever Scholarship)

Applicants are not required to submit a separate scholarship application.
Applicants must meet the University’s entry requirement and hold an offer of study.
Applicants who achieve a 2:1 undergraduate degree classification or equivalent international qualification will be put forward to the Scholarship Panel for a decision.
The Scholarships are allocated to applicants on the basis of their academic merit, strength of statement of purpose and reference.
Deadline for application : 1 July 2017, for September 2017 intake.

The maximum amount of combined award, scholarship and discount available to any student is £3000
The Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship cannot be combined with any other award, scholarship or discount
Alumni discounts will be awarded to a student once
Discounts will be awarded at the discretion of the University
The most beneficial award for each student, the higher of the sum of the award, scholarship or the Alumni discount, will be applied.
RGU Scholarships and Awards are for self-funded students only.

RGU and RGIT Alumni are able to enjoy the following range of exclusive and generous discounts on products and services offered within the university.
Course Fees
Robert Gordon University is delighted to now offer a 20% loyalty discount on course fees for all alumni who have graduated from RGU.
How do you claim your discount?
When applying for your course, the application form will ask if you completed a qualification at the University. Once we have checked and confirmed your qualification is eligible for discount, we will then automatically reduce your fees by the appropriate amount.
The small print
The 20% discount applies to both home and overseas alumni of Robert Gordon University who are commencing study, on campus or online, from April 2016 onwards. It can only be applied to first-year tuition fees and cannot be used to cover any other programme-related expenses (e.g. residential costs, materials or membership fees). The discount rate applies to an individual whether they are sponsored or self-funded. However, it cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer (for example scholarships/awards/corporate schemes/preferential rates). The discount also cannot be received as a cash refund against the full cost of a course.
