一、官方网站中有明确的字数要求
比如宾夕法尼亚大学的TESOL专业要求750words之内，康奈尔大学的LLM专业要求750 words之内，弗吉尼亚大学的景观园林专业要求600到750 words之内，佛罗里达大学和宾夕法尼亚大学的建筑专业要求500 words之内。
二、官方网站中没有明确说明多少个单词，但是有篇幅长度的要求
比如加州大学伯克利分校的MPP专业要求个人陈述的长度在3-5页，12号字体，双倍行距;加州大学洛杉矶分校的LLM专业要求个人陈述的长度在3页以内，12号字体，双倍行距。
三、官方网站中既没有明确的字数要求，也没有篇幅的限制，但是它会在网申当中给个人陈述留有一个文本框，有对于字符数的限制，对于超过规定的字符数的字符不能输入
我们这里说的字符数指的是计空格的。比如说佛罗里达大学的TESOL专业SP要求5000 字符之内，纽约州立大学纽波兹分校的珠宝设计专业SP要求4000 字符之内。
面对如此多的要求，你是不是在想，双倍行距2页是多少字呢，5000字符又是多少字呢?每个学校的字数要求各不相同，有的甚至还没有要求，那到底要写多少才合适呢?
一般情况下，我们前期都会以800-1000字左右的长度来构思我们的SP，后期如果碰到有特殊要求的学校，再进行相应的调整。但如果能提前了解自己想申请的学校对于个人陈述的字数要求，然后按照要求确定内容进行写作，那当然是最好的。

1.内容空洞
