做了多少篇阅读了，为什么得分总是徘徊在一定的范围，没有提高?到底要怎么训练?
提高GRE阅读其实说得细致点就是提高几种具体的技能，比如对文章结构的把握(这是做主旨题和态度题的关键)，对常考考点的熟悉程度，对原文和选项之间的文字对应规律的掌握等。如果只是一味地做题，没有针对所需掌握地知识点和技能进行总结和积累，那么做题的目的只是一味的为了赶进度，对于提高没有任何帮助。因此，在做GRE阅读练习的时候，不要盲目地追求阅读的数量，要真正提高阅读的质量。
另外，GRE阅读是一个长期的过程，不是说练习几天就会有效果的。即使你做了很长时间，只要你的方法是正确的，可能效果也不是很明显。所以，这个时候是最关键的时候，往往离胜利就一步之间，坚持住可能就会豁然开朗。
建议1：对文章结构的把握
文章结构是做阅读题整体思路的关键。掌握了文章结构就知道文章大体的行文脉络，文章的大体意思也差不多了。文章的结构类型以及标志词，以及文章结构类型和主旨题之间的关系，仔细分析一道主旨题的正确答案是怎么阐述原文篇章主旨和结构的，其实这个正确答案就是文章的中心句的改写形式，最重要的就是找出原文中的中心句，这是帮助读者更深刻地理解原文结构的有效办法。
建议2：对常考考点的熟悉程度
俗化说，知己知彼，百战百胜。要想迅速攻克GRE阅读难关，就要了解出题者的思维。根据题目反推原文考点，题目都考了原文哪些内容，自己有没有关注到这些内容并做标记，这些内容都有什么可总结的规律、特征词。这样总结非常重要，如果坚持下去，很短一段时间后，就会发现一些固定的原文出题点，日后再读原文的时候也就会自然而然地关注它们了。
建议3：对错误题的总结分析
分析错题，做错的题一定不能放过，看它们与正确答案之间的差别在哪里，在分析错题的同时更要关注正确答案与原文定位处的叙述之间的改写关系，尤其是词与词的对应关系。当然除了这三点外还有很多可以总结的，比如词汇、难句等，总结是提高的关键，特别是在GRE的阅读中，只有多总结，从总结中不段进步，不段提高，这样我们的阅读水平才会得到提高。

解释：本句是一个怪异的现象的典型例子：句子的结构谈不上复杂，所用单词也不难，但是除非读者有理工科的科研(最好是材料科学的科研)背景，否则句子虽然能够得读下来，但是却搞不清句子说的是什么意思。首先，句子中出现的一些词汇虽然也都比较常见，但是在理科文章中出现，就有了专有名词的意味，同时还带有很抽象的学术含义，笔者称之为专业抽象词，如isotopic composition;source;variation;measurement error;preliminary study等。认识这些单词，并不意味着懂得它们在文章的意义和作用。比如说measurement error,大家都可以望文生义地理解成测量错误、测量误差，但是在对文章的阅读中这种字面上的理解是远远不够的。其实此处强调的并不是测量中出现的错误和毛病，而是指那些每次测量都会发生的、永远也无法避免的、在测量值和实际值之间的正常的差异。因此，本句话的真实含义也难以理解。句子只是罗列了一堆事实，而作者真正想说的意思是什么呢?其实variations exceeding the measurement error的言外之意是这些不同variations是真正有意义的不同，而不是试验的误差;那么不同矿源的铜矿的铅同位素成分真的不同，相同的矿源的铅同位素几乎相同，就意味着我们可以通过测量铅同位素的成分来确定铜矿的矿源(挖掘地)。

解释：本句的结构固然复杂，但造成最大的阅读难度的，主要还是对一些抽象词的理解。正面是对一些关键词汇的解释：
Granted that出现在句首，其意思是大家都同意、当然，实际上是一种让步语气，等于admitted,of course.
Need not argue中的argue在此不是表示常用的那个辩论、争论的意思，而是表示意味着或证实的意思，其同义词是maintain或prove.
Camparable的词义有两个，除了读者熟悉的that can be compared之外，还有一个意思是worthy of comparison，其同义词是as good as.本文中用的是后面的那个意思，对于这个词义的理解，后面的第18题考到了。
