在各种准备不充分的情况下还是硬着头皮考了一次新GRE，不是谦虚。是真的4月中才开始背单词，写作只准备了2周。因此大家别指望我的复习经验了，考场经验给大家做个分享而已，但由于我没有考过老G，所以无法进行对比，单纯就自己的体验来和大家分享下一点需要注意的事情吧~
1.新G绝对是个体力活
不要在以为总时长就是把OG里写的各部分加起来大概3个半小时的样子，实际上在考场几乎要待5个小时~!比如今天是10点正式开考，但它要求最晚9点半要到考场，那么一般谨慎的同学会再提早半个小时，因为毕竟要预留路上塞车还有找考场的时间，所以其实9点就到场了，而最后我做完的时候已经是将近1点50 了。所以，身体很重要，坚持下来毅力也很重要。
2.具体的新GRE机考流程
我在广外云山课室考，走上二楼之后会发给你一张保密协议，大致就是让你别泄题，照它说的填好就可以在候考室等了，大约9点10分的时候监考老师来候考室说考试注意事项，包括如下几项：
(1)手机要关机且不能随身带
(2)除证件外所有物品要放在考场一进门的一个架子上
(注意!水，红牛，咖啡或者任何补充能量的食物等都不能带到你考试的电脑旁也只能放包里等中间休息那10分钟去考场外面吃喝)不过纸巾是可以带的，有过敏性鼻炎或者恰巧感冒了的同学不用担心~夏天考的话怕冷的女生还可以带一件披的衣服因为那是空调房~
(3)考试时任何时候需要离开都一定要示意监考老师
PS.广外云山课室那边厕所就在考场旁，还比较方便~且课室门口就有饮水机还有提供纸杯。但建议考前最好不要喝咖啡或红牛，最好留到中间休息那10分钟出来喝，因为从你假设你是最晚进考场的那个，从考试开始到第一个也是唯一一个10分钟休息还至少有2个小时+，因此进去前就喝一罐咖啡很有可能中途出来上厕所。那个损失的就是宝贵的做题时间了，它是不会给你暂停再补回来的。
3.9点15分开始可以进考场
拿出第二代身份证给考场门口的监考员它会在一个机器上扫描一下，就OK了，那个confirmation letter其实不要求的，但是带上可能更保险吧。进考场之后会有老师让你拿出证件并把其他所有东西放上一个架子上，接着用机场那种检查的东西探测下你身上有没有违禁物品。这个环节之后会有另外一个老师给你拍个照，好好拍哦~因为当接下来你被另一个老师领到指定的一台电脑前之后，就会发现刚拍的照片已经赫然显示在屏幕上了!
4.确认资料信息无误后安静等待开考
广外的每个座位都有挡板隔开的，有点类似中大珠海校区我们上听力的课室，不过位置还要再宽一点，蛮舒服的~坐下之后监考老师会让你不要动鼠标和键盘，只要确认屏幕上显示的你的资料信息是没错的就可以了，接下来就是安静等待考试开始。
5.正式进入考试系统
10点钟由老师来给你输入一个PASSPORT之后就正式进入考试系统了，那个界面和OG里配的光盘的界面是一模一样的~!因此考前请务必用OG配的光盘熟悉适...

Lindsey Todd是来自美国宾夕法尼亚州费城的GRE考生，他表示，“新GRE普通考试很棒的一点是，我可以对考题做出标记，在随后的检查过程中我可以返回到之前拿不准的那些题目，重新解答。另外，屏幕上的计算器我也用了很多次，对我答题真的很有帮助。”
新GRE普通考试采用了新的考试问题、计分方式以及更为人性化的考试设计，为考生提供更为先进的考试，从而为研究生院和商学院提供更为准确的测评标准。考生可以在考试每个部分内移动、编辑或更改答案，以及跳过和返回某个问题，让考生可以自由运用自己的应试策略和技巧。除此之外，新GRE普通考试设置了更多生活场景题，并减少了对单纯词汇意义的考察。在新GRE普通考试中，语文和数学部分的分数区间调整为 130-170 分，1 分为最小单位。新的分数区间既能够显示出细小的分数差别，同时又能够突出较大的分数差别。
ETS副总裁兼高等教育部首席运营官David Payne先生表示：“新GRE普通考试的推出开启了研究生院及商学院学生录取的新时代，这个时代意味着学生能获得更为人性化的考试体验，研究生院及商学院则能得到更具参考性的测评标准。我们非常高兴推出这一考试，它能更好地满足当前考生与校方的双向需求，同时体现了我们提供公平、有效及可靠考试的承诺。”
新GRE普通考试也给中国大陆、香港、台湾及韩国的学生带来了一些利好消息。之前，上述地区的GRE考试都是以分开考试的形式进行;现在，考生可在一天之内在计算机上完成所有的考试内容。此外，这些地区的GRE考试频率也将增加，变为每月一到两次。考生现在缴纳的考试费用也将同国际标准接轨，消除了以往因参加分开考试所导致的价格差，为考生节省考费。
新GRE普通考试是世界上最广为认可和最方便参加的研究生入学考试。目前，全球共有数千所研究生院和商学院，包括600多个MBA项目，认可GRE成绩。每年大约有来自230个国家和地区的研究生院和商学院的申请者参加GRE考试。
