gre词汇表：2012年GRE高级词汇背诵方法

拆分法这个方法顾名思义就是说，把一个词按某种易于背诵的方法拆分开，从而把这个词给记住。这个方法固然不象词根词缀法这么基本有效，但是只要使用得当还是很有用的。下面就举几个例子：比如adamant这个词，意思为坚定的，我们可以把这个词拆解为三部分：a(一只)+dam(大坝)+ant(蚂蚁)→一只站在大坝上的蚂蚁，虽然说风浪很大，但它依然屹立不到，自然就有坚定的感觉了。再如charisma这个词，意思是具有领导魅力的，可以把它拆解为cha(=china中国)+ris(=rise升起)+ma(mao毛泽东)，意思即为中国升起了毛泽东，毛主席自然就是个具有领袖魅力的人物，而这个词也就相应地记住了。还有个经典的单词morose，意思是郁闷的，心情不佳的，你就可以把这个词拆分为mo(谐音为没有)+rose(玫瑰花)→没有玫瑰花，试想下2.14情人节，你是个男生无人可送玫瑰花，你是个女生没人送你玫瑰花，只能一个人躲在寝室里面背单词，自然就是郁闷的了。谐音法谐音法就是根据这个词的读音，与这个词的词义联系起来，从而相应地把这个词给记住。比如有个词stubborn，意思是“顽固的”，你可以把这个词记为“死，大，笨,”，又死又大又苯的人自然就有顽固的感觉了。再譬如morbid，意思是“病态的，不正...
