New international postgraduate students who apply before 1 September are given priority in halls of residence accommodation. Offers of places in halls of residence accommodation are issued when you firmly accept your offer of admission for postgraduate study.

A single international student will probably need about £10,500 a year for accommodation and other living expenses, excluding tuition fees.
Loughborough is also a safe place for students to live. In recent research, Loughborough was ranked the sixth safest place for students, out of 64 towns and cities in England and Wales (StuRents.com University Crime Rankings).
Accommodation
Loughborough offers a wide range of accommodation to suit all budgets. There is also a vibrant off-campus student community of privately run halls of residence and rented housing.

Living in the UK
In addition to tuition and accommodation fees, students will need between £3,000 – £6,000 to cover expenses such as food, books, clothes, insurance, laundry, entertainment, and travel within the UK per year. Travel to and from your home country is not included in this estimate.
£3,000 should cover additional costs for an undergraduate living in fully catered halls for 32 weeks of the year. £6,000 should cover a postgraduate living in self-catered halls for 50 weeks of the year.
