The Joseph L. Carley Endowed Scholarship provides financial support to incoming freshman students from certain parts of New Jersey who are pursuing degrees in the colleges/schools listed below.
Eligibility | Freshman applicants who live in Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem counties of New Jersey and are entering into a major within the College of Engineering, School of Biomedical Engineering, College of Computing and Informatics; the sciences in the College of Arts and Sciences; or the business and engineering major in the LeBow College of Business. |

Undergraduate Fellowship in Business Research
Drexel's Undergraduate Fellowship in Business Research is available to incoming freshmen who desire rigorous research immersion and have been admitted to a bachelor of science degree program in the LeBow College of Business. Recipients will receive $2,083 for each quarter they are enrolled in full-time classes. Other benefits include automatic membership in the Honors Program, selection as a STAR Scholar, and opportunities to engage in research beginning as soon as freshman year.

Many scholarships and grants are offered by private sources, such as fraternal and religious organizations, labor unions, professional associations, social groups, and ethnic associations.
Because they are private and therefore not administered by Drexel, it is up to you to research and apply for them on your own. The best place to start your research is with any organization you or a family member has an affiliation with (such as your or your parents' employer, church or religious organization). If you're a current high school student, you should contact your guidance office for information on local scholarships.
