Overview
The ANU College of Business & Economics encourages students to seek further knowledge and growth beyond the classroom and these Awards will be offered to candidates who have participated in, or who propose to soon undertake, an extracurricular opportunity which directly enhances their academic experience and professional career development.
Eligibility
The Award shall be available to an applicant who:
Is a Domestic or International student.
Is currently enrolled either full or part time in a single or double undergraduate degree or a graduate coursework program offered by the College. Current students who hold a minimum credit average (at least 60% across all units completed at ANU to date) will be eligible to apply for this extracurricular funding.
Has not previously received this Community Engagement Award in prior years of study.
Is seeking funding for an upcoming or a recently completed activity or opportunity. In this instance, activities completed within the last 12 months will be accepted.
Engagement activities must be deemed to directly enhance the students' academic experience and professional career development prospects in a business or economics related field.
Eligible activities for consideration may include: conferences, research, voluntary internships, outreach, service or community programs, or some other similar engagement which is specifically aligned with the individual's ANU curriculum.
Award funding will not be available for the following: sporting and recreational events that are not aligned with the student's program of study, participation in compulsory course or program components, activities where the student will receive a salary or academic credit standing for their involvement (including international exchange placements receiving credit towards an ANU degree program).

Overview
Each year the ANU College of Business and Economics may award up to two 50% tuition fee scholarships for international students ("the scholar") who are applying for admission to an undergraduate program offered by the College for the first time, following the successful completion of the Foundation Studies program at the ANU affiliated provider. The Scholarship will be highly competitive and awarded automatically to an applicant who has performed at a very high level in the Foundation Studies Program.
Eligibility
The Scholarship shall be available to an applicant who:
Is an International Students as defined under the terms of the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000. Dependants of the staff of diplomatic or consular missions are also eligible;

Overview
Each year the ANU College of Business & Economics ('the College') may award up to two undergraduate scholarships for international students who are applying for admission to an undergraduate program offered by the College for the first time. They are highly competitive awards and will be awarded to successful applicants who have performed at an excellent level in schooling prior to commencing at ANU.

Has achieved at an excellent level in their final years of schooling prior to commencing at ANU, as demonstrated by excellent academic results in their qualifications;
Is applying for admission to tertiary study at the ANU for the first time. Students transferring from other Australian or overseas institutions may still be eligible to receive this Scholarship;
Is successful or will be successful in receiving an offer of admission into a single or double undergraduate degree program offered by the ANU College of Business & Economics.
Important note: students applying for a double degree will not be eligible to receive the full program tuition unless both qualifications within the double degree are convened by the ANU College of Business & Economics. Students applying for a double degree combining an ANU College of Business & Economics undergraduate program with one from another College of the University may be considered for the College of Business & Economics International Undergraduate Award.
Benefits
The Scholarships will cover the full (100 per cent) international student tuition fee cost each year, for the minimum standard full-time duration of the scholars' chosen undergraduate program, excluding an Honours Year. Overview
The ANU College of Business & Economics may award up to ten, with scope for up to twenty College of Business & Economics Undergraduate Merit awards each year. The Award is available for students ('the scholar/s') who have completed a Year 12 qualification in Australia and who are applying for admission to the University for the first time.
Eligibility
The Scholarship shall be available to an applicant who:
Is a Domestic or International student;
Is entering university for the first time. Students transferring from other universities are not eligible;
Has applied for admission to a single or double undergraduate degree program offered by the College;
Has completed a Year 12 qualification in Australia at an Australian High School;
Has received an approved Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) or ENTER score and applied for admission to the ANU through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) during the intake this award is being offered. Direct applicants are not eligible. Deferred students who have applied for admission to the ANU in a previous intake, and then formally deferred their offer may still be considered for this award along with their commencing cohort. However these students will need to contact the College prior to commencement in order to ensure their consideration as it may not necessarily be automatic.
Has achieved a minimum ATAR of at least 95 (excluding bonus points).
Benefits
The award will be paid as a one-off payment of $5000.

No application is necessary as all students applying through UAC will be automatically considered.

Achieving the required ATAR, as set out in the eligibility, does not guarantee a scholarship, Awards will be given out to those eligible for consideration in order of academic merit until the allocation is exhausted. Selection
The award of scholarships will be based on academic merit. A Committee will consider the marks achieved in academic courses relevant to studying science at the ANU. Any academic achievements you list in your application will also influence your ranking.
As a guide, applicants with the equivalent of a High Distinction at ANU will be considered. However, as the scholarships are highly competitive a mark at this level does not guarantee a scholarship.
Please note that as we take into account academic achievements additional to those reflected in your grades, and only courses relevant to studying science are considered, the award of a scholarship may not reflect your ranking at your home university.
Benefits
The scholarship offers a stipend of $5,000 paid as a one-off payment after the census date (31 March/31 August) of your commencing semester.

Each year the Research School of Finance, Actuarial Studies and Statistics ("RSFAS") within the ANU College of Business and Economics may offer up to five awards known as the RSFAS Bachelor of Finance, Economics and Statistics (Honours) Scholarship.
