Wayne State University offers merit scholarships to incoming transfer students to recognize your scholastic achievement.
You are eligible to be considered for a transfer student award if you have graduated from high school, and have earned credits from another college or university.
Some scholarships require you to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Scholarships are available to qualified incoming transfer students who are currently enrolled at a community college. Students who were enrolled at a community college within one of the two semesters prior to their anticipated starting term at Wayne State University also are eligible.
Credits can be earned at one or more community colleges, but the combined community college GPA must meet set requirements. To be considered for a community college transfer scholarship, you must have the following minimum criteria by the scholarship deadline:

Currently be enrolled at a U.S. community college outside of Michigan.
Qualify for out-of-state tuition rates. If you qualify for Michigan resident tuition rates or the Great Lakes policy rates you are not eligible for the Anthony Wayne Out-of-State Scholarship.
Have a minimum of 30 transferable credit hours from a community college by the scholarship deadline.

Students receiving scholarships, stipends, and fellowships can receive other federal and state aid provided the total amount awarded does not exceed the student's estimated cost of attendance.
