1.SCHOOL OF ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING, ELECTRONICS AND COMPUTER SCIENCE
The School brings together two departments which have complementary skills that are in demand worldwide: Electrical Engineering and Electronics; and Department of Computer Science.
Staff in the School are committed to the development of programmes that will enhance further the employability of our students and to provide an excellent student experience.
National Student Survey scores show that our students are receiving excellent teaching and student experience.
Many of our programmes offer a year in industry or an opportunity to study overseas which provides opportunities and benefit to those students.

2.School of Engineering
Built on a strong research environment, the School offers taught degree programmes at both BEng and MEng levels in aerospace, civil and mechanical engineering and industrial design. The school also offers MSc programmes in these fields as well as biomedical and nuclear engineering and manufacturing.
The School hosts the Liverpool Institute for Risk and Uncertainty, which has won a major EPSRC award to establish a Liverpool-only Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT). The School’s academics also take part in five other CDTs led by other Schools within the University of Liverpool and other UK universities.
As part of a research-led Russell Group University, the School attracts substantial research funding and has active collaborative contacts with several major industries and universities in the UK and abroad. We invest heavily in our staff, with mentoring, training and resources and continuously aim to help them progress their careers.
The School is made up of two departments: Department of Mechanical, Materials and Aerospace Engineering; and Department of Civil Engineering and Industrial Design.

2.工程学院
工程学院有浓厚的研究氛围，其授课型学位计划分工程学士和工程硕士两个层次，涵盖航空航天工程、土木工程、机械工程和工业设计等领域。此外，工程学院的理学硕士计划除了涵盖上述领域，也涵盖生物医学工程、核子工程和制造工程。

3.School of Environmental Sciences
In the School of Environmental Sciences, we study Planet Earth. We investigate its core and mantle, through to the dynamic lithosphere and crust and the tectonic processes that are expressed at the Earth’s surface in the form of volcanoes and earthquakes. We study the past and present oceans in order to understand how they influence the climate system and the cycling of elements. We are interested in the shaping of the land past and present, from the building of mountains to their erosion by water, wind and ice. We investigate the Earth’s ecosystems, how they are impacted by our species and how human populations can be planned for and managed in the huge variety of environments in which we live. We are concerned with natural and human-induced risks to our population and to the planet ecosystem, and the means to mitigate them.
Our two Departments: Department of Earth, Ocean and Ecological Sciences;Department of Geography and Planning.
These departments encompass an enormous range of activities across the disciplines of Geology & Geophysics, Ocean Science, Ecology & Marine Biology, Geography, Planning and Environmental Science.
We deliver high quality degree programmes and world-class research across these disciplines, but also are involved in collaborating with industry, Government and the public to maximise the impact of our work.

4.School of Physical Sciences
The School of Physical Sciences brings together the research and teaching of three departments, Department of Physics, Department of Chemistry and Department of Mathematical Sciences, within the University of Liverpool. We also run ground-breaking institutes and centres of excellence.
Research and Innovation activity at the School is constantly making headlines. We are key members of global collaborations such as CERN, work with industry and are pioneers in fields such as renewable energy, financial maths and astrophysics.
Currently we directly employ 118 academic staff, many of whom are leading research experts in their fields. A high proportion are also trained educators who regularly teach our students.
Over 2,000 people are pursuing their studies here at undergraduate and Masters levels, in Chemistry, Physics or Mathematics. Additionally we have a thriving community of postgraduate research students.
As a research-led Russell Group University we attract substantial research income and are investing in new institutes and centres, chairs and lectureships, education programmes, facilities and people.
The School has recently received an Athena SWAN silver award.

FACULTY OF HUMANITIES & SOCIAL SCIENCES
Humanities & Social Sciences is one of three Faculties that make up the University of Liverpool, the others being Health and Life Sciences and Science & Engineering.
Together we represent one of the UK's largest concentrations of research expertise, with outputs that place us in the top 1% of Higher Education Research Institutions worldwide.
The Faculty consists of the School of the Arts, University of Liverpool Management School, the School of Law & Social Justice and the School of Histories, Languages & Cultures.
These specialist departments focus on research and teaching excellence in a variety of subject areas, while pursuing innovative, interdisciplinary collaborations with colleagues across the University, city and world.
