Beedie School of Business has a master’s program in finance. It is a full-time, 16-month program, which prepares students for a career in finance and managing investments. The school has been ranked in the 2018 edition of the QS Business Master’s Ranking.This program is suitable for those who want a career in financial risk management or investment management. There is the opportunity to manage a real-life investment fund while studying, which is an invaluable, hands-on experience. The student investment advisory service (SIAS) will expand quantitative and qualitative knowledge, while allowing students to learn experientially. The degree program includes courses on financial econometrics, portfolio theory and asset pricing, and enterprise risk management.The school prefers previous work experience of two-three years, and applicants must have an undergraduate degree in a related field, such as business, economics, mathematics, or science.
