As a teenager，I felt I was always letting people down. I was rebellious1 out－side，but I wanted to be liked inside.

I pointed out，“She is more patient and is neater than I have ever been.” My mom said these were wonderful qualities，but I was the only person who could fill my role. She made me realize that even with my faults—and there were many－I was a loved member of the family who couldn’t be replaced.

這句話通常是當我遇到陌生人時, 又想不到其它話題的時候會最先想到的一句話. 試想二個人如果有共同的興趣和嗜好是不是就很容易成為好朋友呢? 所以我就常問人家, "What‘s your favorite movie? Who‘s your favorite movie star?" 總之 favorite 之後可以接任何你有興趣的話題.
Favorite 這個字很好用, 如果這句話你不用 favorite 的話, 就會變成 "What kind of ice cream do you like the most?" 聽來是不是很冗長? 還有一點值得一提, 比如我要回答, 我最喜歡香草冰淇淋, 再來是巧克力要怎麼說? 那就是 "Vanilla is my favorite flavor and chocolate is my second favorite."
7. What color is your car?

你的車子是什麼顏色.
個人覺得 What 後面接一個名詞這樣的問句好用的很, 可是不知道為什麼剛來美國的人似乎對這樣的問法都不太熟悉. 同樣的句子我就曾說過, "What kind of color does your car have?" 聽來是沒錯, 但我跟你保証老美絕不會這樣問的啦! 他們就是 "What color is your car?" 有時候就乾脆只說 "What color?" 就完事了.
讓我們再來練習幾句, "What year is your car?" 問你的車是幾年份的? "What area do you live?" 問你是住哪一區的. 同樣的 How 後接一個形容詞也很常用, 例如 "How big is your dog?" 你的狗有多大?
8. What‘s going on?
發生了什麼事?
比如說你要用電腦, 可是不知為什麼無法開機, 你就可以說. "Hey, What‘s going on?" 雖然這句就完全等於 "What happened?" 或是 "What‘s up with that?" 但是老美還...

现在进行时的构成：Be+v+ing. 助动词be的形式要根据主语的人称和数来决定。
1、现在进行时的标志：Look!Listen!Now等词
2、现在进行时的基本用法：
a. 表示现在( 指说话人说话时) 正在发生的事情或当前一段时间内的活动或现阶段正在进行的动作。
We are waiting for you.
I’m doing my homework now.
They are watching TV.
b. 习惯进行：表示长期的或重复性的动作，说话时动作未必正在进行。
