(1)能对Mocky, Ann, Ken进行听、说、读。
(2)能听说读和运用本单元目标语言

教学方法：
本节课采用TPR、情景教学法、交际法、游戏法和多媒体教学法。
(1)情景教学法：由于学生对课堂常规不熟悉，所以第一节课不需要按课堂常规开展。将音频和图片相结合，制作成课件，通过此课件引领学生进入英语课堂，接着老师趁势进行自我介绍，并哼起 “Good morning to you!”歌曲，完了立刻跟学生Say“Hello!”，然后拿出Mocky手偶，认识Mocky，并随之展开一系列的学习活动。
(2)游戏和故事相结合。在操练环节，创设了与真实生活紧密联系的游戏：乘坐Mocky, Ken 和Ann 3人开启的汽车到动物园探访Mocky的朋友，要求先跟“司机”打招呼，才能乘坐。此游戏能调动学生积极性，学生乐于参与，情绪高涨，有效进行实际语言操练，提高了学生语言运用能力。
辅助手段：
(1)制作多媒体课件来辅助教学，CAI能够使教学内容更为直观的效果，给学生带来图，文，音三合一的感觉。
(2)CAI更能制作出色彩鲜艳的视角效果，能够更好地引吸学生的注意力。相对传统教学手段来说，CAI产生的效果更加明显。
