2021考研英语：句子翻译的转化方式
由于英汉两种语言在语法和表达方式等方面存在着许多差异，因此英译汉时常常有必要改变表达方式，使译文通顺流畅、地道可读。这种变通技巧就是转换法(shift of perspective)。转换的形式多种多样，大体可分为7种：①词类转换，②句子成分转换，③表达方式转换，④自然语序与倒装语序转换;⑤正面表达与反面表达转换，⑥主动式与被动式转换，⑦分句转换。
一、词类转换
词类转换是指英语中的某一词类译成汉语时转换成另一词类。
(一)英语名词、介词、形容词或副词转换为汉语动词
(1) The cultivation of a hobby and new forms of interest is therefore a policy of first importance to a public man.因此，对于一个从事社会活动的人来讲，培养一种爱好和新的情趣方式，乃是至关重要的对策。
(2) The Red Army Men marched on bravely against the piercing wind.红军冒着刺骨的寒风英勇前进。
(3) All were unconscious that this experience was a test of character; and， when the first excitement was over， felt that they had done well， and deserved praise.大家都没有认识到这番经验却是一次个性的考验，最初的兴奋过去以后，又觉得自己已经干得不错了，理应受到赞扬。
(4) He appeared at her side， breathing audibly， a moment after she reached the stop. She gazed ahead， rigid.她到车站不一会儿，他便出现在她的身旁，听见他喘息的声音。她凝视着前方，表情严峻。
(5) Yet to both classes the need of an alternative outlook， of a change of atmosphere， of a diversion of effort， is essential.然而，对所有这两种类型的人来说，变换一下看法、改变一下环境和转换一下注意力都是最基本的需要。

2021考研英语：句子翻译的处理技巧
英语翻译中的逻辑关系中，有一些正义反说或者反义正说的表达及一些在词汇修饰上的逻辑搭配译法。以下面的句子为例，“we must bear in mind that the great proportion of books which come before the readers are very far from being ‘works of art’”，在这个句子中‘be far from’在句子中是一个正面表达，但含义却是否定的。
‘be far from’的意思是“远非，远不是，一点也不是”，所以要用正义反译的方法。那么这样，我们就可以知道所谓的正义反译，就是指英语中有些正面表达的词语和句子，在翻译成汉语的时候可以从反面来表达而反义正译则是与之相反，在英语中有些从反面表达的词语或句子，在进行翻译处理的时候可以从正面来表达。无论是正义反译，还是反义正译，目的都是为了可以达到翻译的忠于原文及符合汉语的逻辑及表达习惯的目的。若将“be far from”进行恰当处理，我们就可以得出以下的译文：我们须记住，读者面前的大量书刊远非“杰作”。
同样类似表达的词组及固定搭配还有很多，例如，“rather than”在进行翻译处理的时候也需要将其处理为“而不是”。
除了上面提到的正义反译和反义正义之外，在英语翻译中还存在着这样的一种翻译现象：有时候，由于一些词语既有作定语又有作状语的多重功能，很容易发生定语与状语间的误译––看上去是定语，实则是状语看上去是状语，实则是定语。我们继续来看下面这个句子：The composer began his musical career as a violinist，许多考生在第一眼看到这个句子的时候，很有可能将整个句子译为：作曲家开始了小提琴手的音乐生涯。若是你也这样进行翻译处理的话，那么我们就有要继续下面的详解了：这个句中的“as a violinist”，从形式上看，既可作状语，也可作定语，修饰began。从语法上很难分析清楚，这时要借助于语义，从逻辑关系来判断。若是作定语，那么就应该译为“作曲家开始了小提琴手的音乐生涯”，这时不合逻辑的若是将其处理为“音乐家是以拉小提琴开始他的音乐生涯的”，这样就会更符合逻辑。因此，考生若是在考场上遇到类似这样的句子时，一定要从逻辑上对句子进行分析。
