Relativity theory has had a profound influence on our picture of matter by forcing us to modify our concept of a particle in an essential way. 2020考研英语：英语翻译题型的技巧
1，这是一个英译汉的过程，与之前大家熟知的四六级是正好相反的。
2，英语一的翻译要求我们理解概念或结构较复杂的英语文字材料。我们来分析一下什么叫做概念或结构较复杂。首先，概念较复杂指的是文章内容比较抽象。如2008年考的是达尔文的思想及其思想的演变。是关于人的意识的。2012年考的是普遍真理，上升到了哲学层面，内容既抽象又富有哲理性。但是近几年的趋势是趋于简单化，如2016年考的是心理健康对人类的重要性，2017年考的是英语的未来。在文章内容上越来越贴近生活。结构较复杂指的是语法层面上的，会出现强调，宾语后置，倒装等特殊句式，而近几年的难度也是呈现下降趋势，主要考查定语，状语和宾语从句。
3，这是一道翻译题，为什么要说做到准确理解，而没有明确指出考查考生翻译的能力。如果说是翻译，就要求考生不仅要把句子翻译出来，还要求翻译出来的中文到达一定水准，如翻译中的标准--信、达、雅。而准确理解更侧重的是考生能不能理解句子，对翻译出来的中文并没有太高的要求，只要做到译文准确、完整、通顺即可。
